Woody3
I'm trying to remove the electric seats out of a RRC but have no battery to enable them to move along the runners. I have removed the 2 front bolts from the seat subframe but I can't get to the ones at the rear. Is there anyway of turning something so that they roll forward on the runners? Thanks! bishbosh
I think the easiest way is finding your self a 12V power supply as the motors will be hard to get out without first taking the seat out. Can you not run a pair of jump leads from another vehicle to the battery terminals on the RRC?
Woody3
Ok thanks. I've done this, but I think the seat fuse is blown! Any idea where this is? I've found a fuse box to the left of the console but can't seem to see the icon for the elec. seats. It is a 1992 RRC Vogue SE. Thanks. Bowie69
Seat fuses are under the passenger seat, behind the ABS ECU (assuming you have this), small black box Alternatively, the only power going to the seat is via a 3 pin connection under the passenger seat, unplug this and with trial and error you should be able to find which does what, of course there is always RAVE which would tell you what each pin does
