lowlandbear
I have a 1974 light weight with a 2.25L diesel and a Lucas CAV injector pump. It was puffing diesel smoke and so I replaced the four injectors, now it smokes more and makes a loud noise. I think it is getting to much fuel and or the timing is off, but I cannot figure out how to set the timing or control the fuel mixture. Does anyone have documantation? Here are a couple of pictures of the pump. Thank you in advance, James

The 2.25 CAV is an upright rotary pump with no solenoid cutoff, that looks like a very different beast. Got a pic of the engine, or the engine number..? TheRecklessEngineer
I think that may be a 2.5 N/A. A 2.25 though it certainly isn't!

errol209
Does anyone have documantation? The workshop manual covering the 2.5NAD diesel is in the Technical Archive, here, and a guide to doing the timing is here.
