tidy1969
Hi I own a 2006 TD4 HSE freelander, 1 have 18 inch wheels fitted and I have a few questions about some steering issues, when I purchased the vehicle the tracking was out pulling to the left, I had this done the guy said it was out a couple of millimetres but the tracking still feels out but not as bad as before also there is a little play in the steering when traveling in a straight line, front tyres also now starting to show wear on outer and inner edges. Also when reversing on full lock it feels as if the brakes are on a bit, I owned a 2000 TD4 GS some years ago and had none of these issues. western
front tyres also now starting to show wear on outer and inner edges check the tyre pressure is correct, wearing on both edges means they are under inflated.
dubtike
also, the wheels could be too wide and are rubbing against the tyre well panels
