Mike disco Posted May 31, 2010 Share Posted May 31, 2010 I,m having to change the engine in my wifes R plate 1.8 freelander and have found a 51 plate car with sound engine but this has two coil packs is it possible to to fit this engine as the one coming out has a distributor. marty1a Posted May 31, 2010 Share Posted May 31, 2010 As far as I no yes it can be done, you just need to replace the rear cam shaft with the one from the dizzy engine & swap over the rocker covers.
