simonb Posted June 2, 2010 Share Posted June 2, 2010 The input shafts are different lengths as the bell housings are different. It is a non trivial exercise to change the selector mechanism as well. Not worth the hassle, plenty of Defender R380s around. Note TD5 Defender R380 won't fit 300Tdi Defender either as TD5 bell housing is much longer. 200/300 Tdi ratios the same but different to V8 - its all on the Ashcrofts web page.
