Mark Posted June 8, 2010 Share Posted June 8, 2010 Carlos, are you looking at a front or a rear axle? On a front axle, both callipers have 2 brake lines for 200 and 300. On a rear axle, a 200 axle has a single brake line which goes to a T and then to each calliper. On a 300 axle, there will be 2 separate brake lines coming from the axle. On a rear, the 300 axle will only have 3 holes in the diff nose, whereas a 200 will have 4. There are other differences, but it would be good to know if you are looking at front or rear... hth Mark i have a 1996 300 and i have 1 line to each of the front callipers and a friend has a 1991 200 has 2 lines to each calliper, and as for the rear i have 1 line from the body axle which goes to a T piece. gripper Posted June 13, 2010 Share Posted June 13, 2010 i have a 1996 300 and i have 1 line to each of the front callipers and a friend has a 1991 200 has 2 lines to each calliper, and as for the rear i have 1 line from the body axle which goes to a T piece. so does my 98 300tdi, 1 line to each front and 1 line to rear which splits in a T piece to each side.
