Check your lower swivel pin shims, too many, as fitted to some series 1, can shove the swivel ball up, relative to the swivel housing, causing leaks. Pack the swivel seal with grease, it can reduce the leaks. I wonder if packing the seal with never setting silicon would keep it leak free for longer? Spray/coat the swivel ball with grease/waxoil.
