gaz0203
been to fit my mates arb lockers into discovery diffs today nd have hit a huge wall. the lockers came out of s3 diffs with 4.7 fd. im trying to revert to the standard defender 3.54 to make it more road friendly but when attempting to rebuild them the old diffs have much larger bearings, also the arb air pipe piece is lrger, id there a way around this?? im told the lockers may be very early rangerover

jcwcooper
I think you will find you need too fit the smaller bearings, You must have had the old imperial casings. However looking at the ARB manual it looks like you may need a special bearing? see "note 2" on the left http://www.arb.com.au/resources/pdf/airLockers/2-RD127.pdf Dave.
