Mack
Hi all I had a look to the tech archive, but I´m not sure if it is necessary to replace the inner axle seals when greasing the wheel bearings. It is a Puma (same as Td5 setup, I believe). thanks M
Retroanaconda
I assume you mean the inner hub seal? If you're re-greasing the bearings properly then the seal will have to come out anyway (to get the inner bearing out), so you may as well chuck a new one in for the cost of them. Mack
Right. I asked because I ordered a set of genuine seals, but I got "Britpart G", G standing for genuine
Retroanaconda
They should be OEM ones, all the Britpart stuff I've had in the past with a 'G' has been OEM. However if you ordered 'Genuine' then send them back. Genuine should come in a LR bag/box. You've got OEM, which is NOT the same (even though the actual item may well be).
