MORE cararettor questions...

Hi all.

I have just put a new carbarettor on my 2.5 defender engined series 3.

I am unsure as to how the choke should be set up. I ask mainly because the car starts happily everytime without the choke...which seems odd to me.

Currently the choke is set as it was on the old carb. With the choke lever pushed in (this is normal running?) the flap on the carb. is open slightly, so that it is still just covering the cylinder. With the choke pulled out (cold start?) the flap is fully closed.

Is that correct?
