ajh
Boost gauge are dead simple as long as you're able to figure out where to pull the ignition power and light power from, they just T into the appropriate vac line.

reb78
I plumbed mine into the pipe going to the injection pump. Will this give a different reading to the way they are plumbed in in the link above (i.e. on the short pipe to the wastegate actuator)? It will read slightly slower, but you'll be hard pressed to tell.
Aragorn
Depends on the pressure drop from the intercooler and pipework really. It'll read 1 or 2 psi lower i'd expect. You can always move the actuator sense line to the inlet manifold as well, to gain an extra few PSI.

There shouldn't be any pressure drop in the injection pump pipwork compared to the rest of the control pipework, as there shouldn't be any flow, at least not continuous flow. If there is, the diaphragm is leaking and should be replaced.
ajh
So, considering everything above, if you really want to be able to monitor and tune your turbo boost accurately where is the ideal location? Logistics aside.
