DrRob Posted August 28, 2010 Share Posted August 28, 2010 Want to drive it later this week for views etc. From my research (Trailwise, Wilts CC online etc) it looks for the most part open and not subject to TRO etc. Couple of questions for a "local" in the know: 1) Is it open all the way from Salisbury westwards to Fovant? 2) Is it OK for a lone vehicle? 3) Is it fairly even surface all the way? Disco-Ron Posted August 28, 2010 Share Posted August 28, 2010 Rob, as i understand it, the setion from Salisbury to the racecourse is closed, however i do know someone who apparently drove it recently, i then told him it was closed....... so if you want to avoid the possibility of trouble, start from the racecourse........ from then on, it is certainly do-able alone, its basically like a gravel track all the way, no real issue anywhere....
