rovernut
I am seriously considering taking the cat out of the system on my TD5 110. I would still be left with the middle silencer. Would it be better to straight through this pipe too. De cat pipe is around £60, and mid pipe is around £60. Anyone know if there is a kit available to do both at less than £120. The mufflers on turbo exhausts are straight through, rather than baffled like normally aspirated engine exhausts, so replacing the centre section will make no difference. rovernut
Thanks for that, I can save myself at least £60. Do you know if removing the cat makes any significant difference to mpg or would I be wasting more time and money

Without the centre silencer box, your turbo will spool up faster, your EGT will be lowered, and you'll get some extra voomah!
