russpaul
Hi, Anyone help. After replacing uj's on front propshaft this evening am looking forward to refitting tomorrow. Thought I would read up via Haynes just so not caught out. They state sliding part of prop goes to the front. Thats the problem, it didnt come off that way. I marked the prop carefully before removal so any advice please welcome

Maverik
Slidy bit always fit to transfer box. (to play devils advocate, as I've often pondered this...) But why???
Tractorboy16
not to sure i always fit slidy bit back, keeps it higher out the way of al the **** and then the female end- open end if sacing back also so less likely to be full of mud and rubbish!! and i do have my grommits on!!!
