chrisoleary
I've got my new doors put together with parts off my old ones but I'm struggling to get one of the windows to go up evenly. I have noticed that one of the wheels in the lower holders does not move along the holder as the opposite one does, my question is should it? oakesy
Either the teeth are worn or the channels for the glass isn't seating correctly. A good way of telling the teeth are gone is the winder allows the glass to slip.
chrisoleary
That may well be the problem Oaksey as it does slip down a bit when starting to wind. Do i need to change the whole unit?

Check first though to confirm on the crescent shape winder mechanism a row of teeth which gradually fades on the last quarter section. They fairly easy to replace whole mechanism and cheap too.
