bear
Hi Folks, Following advice on another site I checked the power steering pipe that does a "U" turn on the left hand side of the engine block on my 2004 model and found that it is very close to the metal with a danger of it chaffing through over time. It was only protected by some foam tubing. I've now taped some plastic piping around it to protect it further. Secondly, if you have rear parking sensors fitted, have a look behind the small plastic grill inside the rear door on the lefthand side where the control unit and bleeper are. I was amazed that all the wiring rests on sharp metal work which could easily cut through them. Again some plastic piping taped over the metal edage will prevent future problems.
