Mo Murphy
As I've gone back to plan A of using the rangy imperial rear axle case, I've obtained a pair of Rangy rear calipers to suit. I need to overhaul these but don't know what overhaul kit to use. The piston diameter is 41.2mm according to my vernier calipers, is this the same size as 90/110/Discovery ? Who sells stainless steel pistons ? Cheers Mo
cackshifter
The rears I think have a shorter 28mm piston so you can't use something suitable for the fronts. I have just bought 2 sets of stainless ones off link on ebay. Apart from Zeus and Rakeway I don't know who else makes or sells stainless. These seemed fine, and the retaining rings seemed to fit quite well. 110 pistons are 46mm - at least mine were (1997) Regards Nigel

Snagger
I used Zeus ss pistons and seals on my callipers, and am very pleased with them.
scube
Personally I would go for original items and seal kit. They have lasted this long already.

Or you can look on it that you will be doing it again in ten years if you use standard pistons...
