Hello, I received these seatbelts with my series 3, and I suspect they're off a defender but I'm not sure. The belt is rolled up all the way and I can't seem to be able to release it? Tried pulling fast/slow nothing seems to work. Can anyone offer any advice? Thanks

The angle you need to hold them at will depend on what they were originally fitted to. The reel securing brackets I had in my Series III were fixed the the inside of the rear tub at 45-ish degrees.

The inertia reel bracket casing may well have an arrow moulded into it indicating which way up it should be fitted.

You need to allow the belt to return a little while the reel is held in the correct orientation.  If there's already so much on the reel that it wont return by itself you need to make sure you keep it in the correct orientation and then with your other hand roll the reel round slightly further, only needs to be about half an inch, then pull it out.  If you don't let it return the mechanism won't release.
