hammoj28
Im pretty sure LRO's latest issues got an article on all the different engines this month. Think they said it should be about around 30mpg becuase its slightly more economical than the 300. Im sure someone will correct me if im wrong. Then again with a Disco Tranny you might get more? poohbear
Also found this: 'engine is without doubt one of the best diesels ever fitted in the Land Rovers. Sure, it's a bit noisy but it lives very long, has no starting problems, pulls well once it's warm and, best of all, it gives an excellent fuel economy. Real world figures are around 10 liters per 100 km with an achievable 8 on long runs and an upper limit of around 12,5/100 if you tow a heavy trailer flat out.'
