6735DXB
A small piece of plastic, I think from the broken air vent arm above, dropped onto centre console and into the open keyhole slot in the ignition. I know this with hindsight - and accept stupidity - but pushed in key before realising the error or the reason!! Now key will not seat properly in the lock (proud by about 2mm) and so cannot switch on, or do much of anything - even recovering it was a massive undertaking! Is this a fixable problem that anyone else has encountered or is the end of the world as related to me by local part-changers, who now want to replace the steering module and codes, et al!!? Cheers, from "Broke n Perplexed" in Dubai.

If you can't find one it would probably still be cheaper to fly one out than pay the dealer to replace and recode...
