In water temperature sensor

Recommended Posts

On my series I have an in-water temp sensor, and it's inserted into the main radiator-to thermostat hose. My problem is that even with a couple hose clamps, I can't get it to stop leaking! I don't remember it leaking before I removed and re-installed the radiator, but who knows. What am I missing, any suggestions? Thanks!

Is that the sensor bulb for an electric fan like the Kenlowe one? There's a special curved piece of rubber with a slot in it to supposedly prevent leaks, but they rarely work. RTV sealant is usual way people get them to seal properly.

If it is the Kenlow thing i would say X-Eng.
