neil110 Posted November 6, 2018 Share Posted November 6, 2018 A proper V8 R380 has a slightly taller 5th gear than the R380 intended for coal burners. Oh and there is another manual box designed to live with a V8, the one that nobody has mentioned thus far. Quagmire Posted November 6, 2018 Share Posted November 6, 2018 The 2wd lt77 bellhousings are a fair bit shorter than the 4wd application ones.
