russ1 Posted September 24, 2010 Share Posted September 24, 2010 Evening I have a 300tdi with a diesel leak, looking at the top of the tank its coming from one of the lines that run to the engine. Its the line which has the 6 bolt flange to fix it to the top of the tank, what is this? is it just a pick up pipe or a pump etc? Les Henson Posted September 24, 2010 Share Posted September 24, 2010 300TDi has no in-tank pump, so just the sender, pick-up. and return. Lift pump on the side of the engine to get it from the tank.through the filter, and then to the injector pump, which pressurises it further.
