Steve Hiatt
Yes, the 110 had a bigger handbrake drum which yours seem to have. They also have the lowest transfer box ratio, perfect for racing.
jad
Just wanted to say PM me with a price if you are thinking of getting rid of any. thats if they are for a V8 defender. cheers Jad
Range Rover Blues
Yes, the 110 had a bigger handbrake drum which yours seem to have. They also have the lowest transfer box ratio, perfect for racing. Is that as low as the 101 transfer box then?
Steve Hiatt
Yes, significantly. The 101 is 1.17:1 and the 110 was 1.34:1. The RR was 1.11:
berti1554
Yes, the 110 had a bigger handbrake drum which yours seem to have. They also have the lowest transfer box ratio, perfect for racing. Are you sure about that? I always thought they had the highest transfer box ratio. Was this on 4-cyl trucks only?
Steve Hiatt
Sorry, to clarify, the 110 ratio will give you the lowest top speed.
