Scuba1 Posted October 8, 2010 Share Posted October 8, 2010 Hi folks I want to mount a remote controlled spot light on the roof of my Disco and was thinking about how to route the wiring to it so that it does not cause leaks etc. Another thing is, can I mount it permanent on there or does it have to be removable for MOT checks and the likes. sutty_32 Posted October 8, 2010 Share Posted October 8, 2010 I have the wires for my roof lights going through the roof. I drilled a hole and used a grommit and a bit of silicon. As long as the grommit is a good fit it shouldn't leak. I also removed the head lining so the wires can be hidden behind it, then down the A pilar to the dash so you can't see them Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
