tjolliffe
Hi all, I need to change the fuel sender unit in my 1996 300 disco. I've got the usual problem of the unions being very corroded so does anyone have any advice about what to do when I’m changing it. Also, I’ve bought the new OEM unit and the unions on it are not threaded, is this correct? I've not looked too closely at the one currently on the tank to see if it’s the same.... In which case how do the pipes attach, with olives or something? Will I need to get some of these? Any advice would be much appreciated! Thanks Tom
Les Henson
You use your old unions and the olives if you can get them off without damaging them. Lift pump, but the olives/union is the same thing. Les.
