Diablo
I've done the classic and dunked it in too much mud and getting no output. Got the alternator in two now, and was wondering what was the best way of cleaning the rotor and stator, along with any other tips?
L19MUD
I have done this with sucess a couple of times now - cleaned it all up with brake parts cleaner, let it dry and then given it a coat of WD40 before putting it back together again. Worked for me!
FridgeFreezer
Hose it out with clean water, douse with WD40, start & run to see if it's working & dry it out a bit. If it's still not playing, you may need to remove the brush pack and clear the crud out of the brushes so they move freely.
Diablo
Crud cleaned out with fibreglass brush and the dribble of brake cleaner I had left, and now working properly. Just took the air filter out to have a look and there's more mud than filter in it! The things we do for one day of fun off roading eh....
