Looks like an ARB'd axle ?....

The sd crownwheel and pinion flexes under load and then the teeth can be sheared off, there is a modification where you place a brass plate bolted through the casing so a "Slipper" of thick brass is just clear of the back face of the crownwheel, if then under load it trys to flex the slipper of brass stops it.

Done this to both mine, ashcroft can help also, and no I haven't any photos ! :lol:
