Seat repair

Recommended Posts

Found a small split in the seat squab of my new (to me) seats and thought I would try to catch it before it spread as they do with usage.

I used a great product from the US called liquid-stitch it permanantly fixes splits cuts and all manner of blemishes and you can colour it, its waterproof after 24hrs and can be used on leather, fabric, vinyl.

You paint it on and it forms a skin over the split. It does dry with a slight sheen but that can be taken off with a bit of abrasive when dry

"Its nice when things do what they say on the tin" :D
