RichardAllen
How do I identify whether my 300 TDi 90 CSW has a 100 amp or a 65 amp alternator. It does not have aircon. This must have been covered before somewhere, but I could not find it. All help gratefully received Regards Richard
western
standard fit on all Defender 300 was a 65amp, the 100amp has/may have a internal cooling fan, instead of a external fan as is probably on the 65amp unit, there should be a ident lable on the alternator somewhere. Litch
On an original fit alternator the ID plate is on the underside, I was looking up from underneath this weekend and spotted it.
