lapperz Posted December 5, 2010 Share Posted December 5, 2010 ive noticed a water leak from the pipe where it go's into the water pump,at first i thought it was a crapi jubilee clip but no. ive looked under the vehicle and water was dripping from a bit higher up.this is where i need help please.on the bottom of the waterpump just behind the pully ive noticed a near perfect hole about 6 or 7 mm wide help what is it or is this normal help please. its a d90 with a 200 tdi disco engine thanks Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

western Posted December 5, 2010 Share Posted December 5, 2010 you need a new water pump, the hole is a tell tale to let you know the pump seal have given up, nothing fits in the hole, it's doing exactly as designed, virtually all water pump have something like it.
