mepeefreelee Posted December 11, 2010 Author Share Posted December 11, 2010 i finally got an auto spark to come out and have a wee look. he showed me the 4 contact plates where the spark hits it had a small built up which had occured over the last 25 years where the spark had been jumping this had made the plates connect over time. there for they had eventually connected. so with the help of a small jewllers file he freed them and now they are as good as ever i hope this helps anyone else that might have this wee hicup Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
