Daan
Hi, As it says, my mig welder stopped working (triggering only activates the gas release solenoid, but no wirefeed or current). I cant see anything obvious broken or burnt out so a bit out of my depth here. Is there anyone good for welder repairs round oxfordshire area? The type is an Oxford 181 turbo welder. FridgeFreezer
Welders aren't very complicated, unless thing thing is very posh it should mostly be a job for a £5 multimeter with continuity buzzer.
reb78
These guys were mentioned on the mig-welding forum recently: http://s328801898.e-shop.info/shop/page/about?shop_param= I think they set up to repair the cheap chinese plasma cutters that broke quickly, but i think they do welder repairs as well. Heres the thread they came up in - reads like a bit of an advert in places, but if they do what they say.......... http://www.mig-welding.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?t=22802
