arabianjules Posted December 19, 2010 Share Posted December 19, 2010 ...drove back home to witney nr oxford yesterday with the kids for xmas, started snowing on M1 at Liecester, still snowing at A43/M1 junction at Northampton, A43 got steadily worse the further we got towards the M40...which ended up as a car park, so took the A4095 across country to witney...BOY i love beening back in a landy! The most fun drive back i`ve had, 4x4 rocks! felt guilty passing people, especially the snow plough on the A43!! :lol: Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Turbocharger Posted December 19, 2010 Share Posted December 19, 2010 Yup, I drove from Gloucester to High Wycombe and back yesterday, the worst bit was around Oxford. I avoided the motorways because they were horribly snarled up. I'm a helpful chap, but after two hours I was only towing out the people who were actually blocking my way.
