driving in snow

drove along snow covered minor road a couple of hours ago. unlit road, snow sparkling in the Discovery haedlights, exterior bitterly cold, interior nice and warm due to great heater, young boys in back seat enjoying snow. I love my Land Rover Discovery. 16 years old, rusty in parts, worn in parts, but with new filters, belts, pulleys, alternator, and pulling uphill like a train-life IS good. I'm fortunate enough to be satisfied with the simple things in life-home made wine/beer/jams/home grown food/wild food..........well, if you know, you know..........................happy CHRISTmas everyone on this forum, and a happy new year. Thanks for all the valuable help. Norrie.

I drove my mum around yesterday, delivering eggs. I was driving my dad's 96 300tdi defender 90. The back roads were covered in ice, very hard to get stopped, but the landy got up every hill and home safe aswell, fantastic machine!

happy christmas to all
