boon Posted December 27, 2010 Share Posted December 27, 2010 merry christmas and happy new year guys an thankyou in advance.....i have been trying to buy a map sensor for my 2000 4L v8 for a while part number AEB 025 but cannot seem to find one its for the steffanelli lpg system which is installed it keeps turning off the supply of gas thus resulting in me having to turn off the engine to reset the system maybe 3 times in 10 mile,i end up just leaving it on petrol which is starting to cost any help will be appreciated thankyou. richard1978 Posted December 30, 2010 Share Posted December 30, 2010 why does it have to be that map sensor, can you not get another sensor from a more readily availible source, say ford or pug? map sensors are mostly similar in operation, the only thing you might need to do is re-run tubes or tap in to current tubes and also wire it in. is the tube damaged/blocked which goes to the old map, if so that will stop it working also. i cannot help with the map yoiu are looking for, but best of luck finding one. richard Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
