forestrynick
Hi all Just finished off bumper for mates series, slightly unusual design so thought i'd show some pics. Made from two tubes, joined by four tube sections. Mount on the four original bumper bolts and the spring hanger bolts (all single shear). Has triangle braces for corners and swing shackle recovery points (ex military of some sort). Plasma rope will come out between centre tube joiners. Approach angle is about as good as possible, without removing spring hanger etc. Happy new year Nick
treebloke
I like it, especially the way you built in the fairlead.
missingsid
Very nice work. But erm doesn't the first pic suggest that it is not legal as it covers the number plate? Sorry for being picky. Happy New Year. Marc.

Pinn76
Looks great, good work there very much like a vehicle at 2010 De-cider challenge who had one built into the cage front and back.
bishbosh
Nice bit of fab work. However, I don't like the look of those "recovery" eyes. They are lashing eyes and I doubt they'd by up to the job of a heavy winch pull, particulalry at any sort of angle to the side. Don't want to sound all doom and gloom ,but better safe than sorry. forestrynick
Don't think its quite as quality as tonys g wagon, for starters his is in stainless, this one is out of an old rusty bit of pipe! I am thinking about changing the shackles for simple loops. Though its not like the trucks about to be used for challenge events Nick
