western Posted January 1, 2011 Share Posted January 1, 2011 if your ritating the engine with the injectors & glowplugs fitted, it will be hard to turn over, the starter is designed to do this at speed & it has the gearing too, whereas you don't. LandyManLuke Posted January 1, 2011 Share Posted January 1, 2011 Assuming the valve train is complete, and the cylinders are sealed (injectors and glow plugs fitted etc), you should be able to feel ( and hear) each cylinder build compression, and loose it, as the valves open and close.
