need4speed
Im trying to remove the locating dowel thats in the rear of my 4.6 crank. Is it viable to drill it and run a tap into it, in order to jack it out with a bolt? Is the dowel too hard to drill? Phil

02jcole
If its too hard to drill/tap, could you MIG weld a suitable stud to the dowel and use a slide hammer? Just a thought which might be completely unsuitable! James
