plasticbadger
I was annoyed this week, I went shopping at Sainsburys in Chichester and got a 2p per litre off coupon, so I drove past the Shell station outside, noting the price of 128.9p/l then I went to Sainsburys at Hedge End to fill up and get my 2p off and still paid 130.9p/l! JJB Serenity
133.9 Texaco near Canary Wharf 126.9 Shell near Hainault. Crazy prices!!
v8bertha
£0.17 from my shed. At that sort of price I'd seriously consider running the 110 as my everyday vehicle and getting shot of the Freelander. I don't suppose for one minute that prices will start coming down, and as is the good old British tradition, we will of course just accept it and then moan about it to our mates down the pub. There are times when I wish we were more like the French!

plasticbadger
You need to look at the prices France is paying then... Before Christmas they were down to about €1.25/L of the Autroutes, upto about €1.60/L on the Autroutes. I make that £1.05 to £1.34 in todays money, so a its best far better, at its worst about the same.

v8bertha
You need to look at the prices France is paying then... I was talking about them going on strike whenever something remotely unappealing happens... not that it seems to do much good though! piper109
People here are complaining because Diesel is up to $3.10 a gallon, higher in many places. Its a small Gallon, 20% smaller than imperial but we are still well off compared to European prices. It works out at 53p per litre but then everything is further apart here and we end up doing lots of miles.

reads90
12.85Nok/ L here. A$1.29 Ltr Here is Australia And even with the carp value of the pound still makes it 82p a ltr
reads90
. It works out at 53p per litre but then everything is further apart here and we end up doing lots of miles. They use that excuse here in Aus. But when you look into it the average k's they do a year over all is 20,000 which is 12000 mile so the same as the Uk. After all what most people do in most parts of the world is go to work come home , go to the shops , and take the kids to school and they don't travel to the other side of the country to do that. They do what local to them The reason the fuel is cheap IIs because the government don't see it as such an easy way to rip everyone of like the Uk does
