Headlining rear for smooth roof

Recommended Posts

Hi do any of you know if you can buy such a thing, I have been looking for a while and have never seen one without the cut outs for alpine windows.

I also wondered if any part of the 110 rear roof sections are the same size as the 90.

Thank you for your help...

Frax ;)

Even the genuine parts one has the cut outs for the alpine lights.....There isn't a version without the cut outs as far as I know. As for getting a decent one 2nd hand, LR specialist breakers are probably your only bet.

Well that was my plan, but I have a decent headliner in the front and so I'd quite like the rear to match (yes I'm a tart really :P). I was going to glue camping mats to the roof with a decent (heat resistant) contact adhesive, and then a relevant trimming carpet over the top.

But a proper fitted headliner looks 100x better in my opinion.

Plus I know where there's one going cheap that I previously discounted for having alpine cutouts ^_^

I've been looking for something similar and came across these people... they do a rear for a 90.

HERE clicky

I have the LaSalle trim sat in the back room to install in my 90 CSW when it gets warmer and dryer out :).

Also helped a friend put it in his 110 with van sides, really makes the inside look smart. It is expensive stuff and takes a while to install correctly but it's a good product.

Oh and of course, no alpine window cutouts, if you buy the extra alpine window bits from LaSalle you have to cut the trim and put the extra trim over the hole ;).

One thing I would suggest is to stick some cheap camping mats up before you mount up the new headlining, that will take and thruming out of the roof and also seems to keep heat in and cold out ;).

Messy job but you can cover it with the nice headlining if you make a mess of the camping mats.
