Hi all,

Those of you that have booked will be getting an email tonight with all the details for the event. If you didn't supply an email address then I'll be sticking it in the post first thing Wednesday morning so you should have it all by Thursday.

Looking forward to it, should be good with the recent rain up there :)

Hi I would like to thank Shires for a great weekends offroading. It was my first time with the club and after enjoying so much will hopefully meet up again in Sept. Also a big thank you to Richard (delander) for recovering me back to Swansea after blowing the front and rear diff at the same time. opps. great event great club and a brilliant weekend .

Yes, Thanks very much for putting on the event. We had a good weekends offroading without breakages. We were of to a bad start when I decided to remove the cambelt cover wading plug and a liter of oil drained out of that. It was 4 pm friday, so a very spirited cambelt change had to happen before we set off.

Anyway, great event for us.

Thanks from Daan, Heleen and Arnout (both came over from holland for the weekend)

I managed to drive into quite a deep rut and get a bit of an angle on, Mr Pope-on-a-rope and Marky were impressed, I was less keen on the whole experience... it always feels worse from the driver's seat

A casualty of letting Steve_M behind the wheel of your very clean & straight 110...

I believe Muddyrice is owed a big thanks for fetching a new brake pipe from home & getting the 110 back on the road for the next day.

Great event enjoyed by every one in our little group. Thanks to Daan, David and Richard for their help in extracting the 110 after our little slide off the track, and to muddyrice and friend who I am pretty sure are the guys who supplied us with a new brake pipe to get us up and running again for the Sunday. Also relating to that if anyone is looking to sell a straight passenger wing and door bottom to suit an early 110 (preferably in a light green colour as in Fridge's last photo for day 1) please could you let me know and I will pass the details on to the owner of the slightly worse for wear 110.

Full set here. Fewer photos than normal from me I'm afraid - a mixture of not wanting to get my camera wet when it pretty much failed to stop raining on the Saturday, being stuck in hidden valley most of Saturday afternoon, and trying to find 25 trucks in 1600 acres of woodland.

Yep great work there fellas and thanks Fridge for getting one that shows off my bald head in all its glory. Coulda used photoshop and coloured it in for me!

Didnt realise we had been followed and photo'd so much whilst we were there.

Any chance this event could be made into a long weekend because it always seems to go so quick and feels short?

I have always wanted to do that but never quite felt brave enough. :)

A few (Rich included) went up as well - I had a go but chickened out due to lack of cage. I've got some video of people going up, but probably won't get time to post it until I get back from my hols.
