Niamh
Why are the bolts at the transfer box end of the front propshaft put in from the back so one can't remove them easily to replace with new bolts when changing propshafts? stuck
They are easy to remove, take the prop off then undo the big nut inside the flange.
jad
Why are the bolts at the transfer box end of the front propshaft put in from the back so one can't remove them easily to replace with new bolts when changing propshafts? Niamh bloody good question!i would like to know the answer to this as well. They are easy to remove, take the prop off then undo the big nut inside the flange. i think you missed the point.... the diff end you dont have to undo the diff pinion nut. Could it be so its easier to support the propshaft while putting it on?
