jcwcooper Posted March 1, 2011 Share Posted March 1, 2011 Sometimes yes, Most disco 300tdi's have a 3 bolt propshaft, so the flange on the diff is different but it can be changed, other than that they are the virtually the same halfshafts are one piece on the disco cant remember if they are on defender. HTH Dave. Dave Not fussed with the diff as i'll be using my original.As long as the internal's are the same for both axles then thats ok.It's easier to get hold of a Disco axle. Rear discs are different too, Disco rear discs are smaller than 110 rear disks (which are the same as 90/110 fronts).
