lawrence
My company car is due to be replaced in a few months and I am thinking of getting a freelander 2. I currently also own a 1995 disco tdi. So I am no stranger to landrover, my question is what are the freelanders like at towing. Could do with it been quite good to save my poor disco from having to pull the horse box. What engine whould you recomend, the spec would be quite low as I don't want to pay a lot as i will only have the car on lease for 3 years. lawrence
really the auto, have it on my disco but never liked it for a main car always stuck to manual. Is there a reason for it or just your personal choice.
mad_pete
I thought the clutch struggled a little bit on the freelander 2 and thought the auto might make towing easier. I think the SD4 is auto only.
lawrence
I'll keep that in mind when I take a closer look at them. Thanks for reply, any help is much appreciated.
