Smokydiesel
Hello, My lower doorpilars on my Serie IIa are getting a bit rusty, so I'm about to take up the tools again... I would like to know how the Bulkhead brackets (the ones that take the long bolt through to the outrigger) are fixed inside the doorpilers ? Are they simply pushed up and held by the doors lower hinge-bolts ? Thanks ! Edwin.
Phil Hancock
They should be welded, door pillars a few years ago came with the mounting already welded in place. Selling them separate was probably a sneaky way to up the price.
