DAN82SED
i have recently bought a 300tdi disco which runs well apart from the fact it feels like it wants to stall when setting off in first gear. it needs to be reved to around 2000rpm to set of smoothly. any ideas??? im going to bleed the clutch on the weekend and see if it makes a difference, or would i be wasting my time? any imput appreasiated, cheers
sutty_32
Are the tyres standard size? Bigger tyres won't help setting off from a standing start
DAN82SED
yeah, 33/12.5/15 but the same tyres were fitted to my 11o 300tdi and that pulls off like a rocket. forgot to mention both are fitted with alli intercooler and fueling has been tweeked. thought the problem might lie with the clutch
karlo
Transfer boxes as standard are 110 : 1.6, Disco : 1.2 so gearing will be different.
