cieranc Posted March 20, 2011 Share Posted March 20, 2011 Ha ha ha, I'm with Litch, very rarely is chequerplate used for it's functionality, ok so bonnet and wing tops where they get walked on. But it's mostly used to cover up bodge / hide damage. I replaced the rear door on my 1987 110, nearly every weld was broken out of the frame.
