PieEater3142
So I'm working on a 110 project and I want to have some way of carrying water. Now I was looking at the tanks which sit behind the rear bulkhead but then I got to thinking with a friend. Why can't I just get a side mounted tank on the 110 and just connect it up for water. Well I realise that this is going to give a whole host of issues if I were to get a metal tank. But 12gallon tank or what have you, and low mounting would be ideal. Question is, is there a plastic side tank I can get for a 110 (td5 chassis)? Thanks in advance, James
oakesy
Problem you will have is contamination issues from the materials used in construction and make up. I think there are design models for expedition to africa in current land rover magazines you could try first.
miketomcat
Get a stainless/tektank (plastic) tank made to fit where ever you want any shape, size and mounting is possible all marine tanks are made this way. Mike

PieEater3142
Cheers guys, might have to see if I can get something made up to sit under the divers seat, but that tank does look like a possible solution - just wont fit where I want I think - or have I misunderstood where it sits?
