jericho
Fitting a brantz speedo cable sensor. I've read the instructions. How can I remove the inner cable to slide it trough the sensor when each end has moulded or crimped fitting on it?
Les Brock
When I did mine many moons ago.. I just removed the inner square section by pulling it out 2 piece speedo cable, then cut the outer sleeve where you wanted the sensor to fit, which then clamps into either end of the sensor, then pass the square section all the way through. that was it ! it was a few years ago and the sensor head might have changed
jericho
I don't think the sensors have changed. On the one piece cable I can't see any way to pull the inner cable out, short of cutting the end off.
